Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Atlas Inc. ("Atlas," "we," "us," or "our"), the company that operates the Atlas AI travel companion available at chatwithatlas.com and through our mobile apps. Please read them carefully. By using Atlas, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Atlas (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Atlas is an AI-powered travel assistant that helps you plan trips, search flights, discover activities and places, and explore destinations through natural conversation.

2. Description of Service

Atlas provides AI-generated travel suggestions, including flight and activity recommendations, place and restaurant discovery, weather forecasts, visa information, currency conversion, eSIM options, and day-by-day itinerary planning. Atlas is a conversational AI tool. It does not book flights, hotels, tours, or other travel services on your behalf, and it is not a licensed travel agency. All suggestions are for informational purposes and should be verified independently before you make any travel decision or purchase.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Atlas. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using Atlas, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User Accounts

You can browse Atlas as a guest, but saving trips and syncing conversations requires an account. You sign in using your Google account, or Sign in with Apple where offered (including in our iOS app). By signing in, you grant Atlas access to your basic profile information (name, email, and profile photo) as provided by that sign-in provider. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Mobile Applications

We offer Atlas as apps for iOS and Android in addition to the website. When you use a mobile app, the following also apply:

• License. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal travel planning.
• App store rules. Your use must comply with the terms of the store you downloaded it from (Apple App Store or Google Play). Where these Terms conflict with the applicable store's rules, those store rules govern for the app.
• Apple devices. For iOS apps, Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
• Device permissions. The app may request permissions such as location, notifications, or network access to provide features. You can manage these in your device settings; declining some permissions may limit functionality.
• Push notifications. If you enable them, we may send push notifications (for example, trip reminders or updates). You can turn them off in your device settings.
• Updates. The app may download and install updates automatically to keep it secure and functional.

6. Third-Party Services and Affiliate Disclosure

To answer your travel questions, Atlas sends relevant parts of your request to third-party services and uses their data. These include flight, activity, place, weather, visa, currency, eSIM, and web-search providers, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of any third-party website or service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for them.

Affiliate disclosure. Some links Atlas provides — including certain flight booking links and eSIM plans — are affiliate or partner links. If you make a purchase through them, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never changes the price you pay, and we aim to surface options based on relevance to your request, not on the commission we may receive.

7. No Guarantees

Atlas does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any travel information it provides. Prices, availability, schedules, visa rules, and other details change without notice and are set by third parties, not by Atlas. Always verify flight prices, availability, visa requirements, and safety advisories through official sources before you rely on them.

8. Bookings and Payments

Atlas does not process payments or complete bookings. When you choose to book or buy, you do so directly with the relevant airline, tour operator, eSIM provider, or booking platform, under their terms and pricing. Any contract for travel services is between you and that provider. Atlas is not a party to, and is not responsible for, those transactions.

9. User Conduct

You agree to use Atlas only for lawful, personal travel-planning purposes and in line with these Terms. You will not:

• generate harmful, abusive, unlawful, or misleading content;
• attempt to bypass the AI's safety guidelines or the Service's security;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service or its underlying technology;
• use automated means to access the Service beyond normal personal use; or
• infringe the rights of others or interfere with other users' access.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and technology within Atlas are the intellectual property of Atlas Inc. and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our explicit written permission. You retain ownership of the content you submit, and you grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any information will be accurate or reliable.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atlas Inc. and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from travel bookings, missed flights, inaccurate information, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atlas Inc., its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service, except where applicable local consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm Atlas or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.

16. Modifications

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and make reasonable efforts to notify you through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
